Pam astudio Electroneg?
Mae electroneg yn faes cyffrous sy’n effeithio ar bron pob agwedd o’n bywydau.
• Mae’r cwrs fel arfer yn denu myfyrwyr sy’n hoff o ddefnyddio technoleg a/neu ddeall gwyddoniaeth.
• Nid yw’n angenrheidiol bod myfyrwyr wedi astudio cwrs mewn Electroneg yn flaenorol ond byddai dealltwriaeth dda o Wyddoniaeth a Mathemateg yn fanteisiol.
• Mae Electroneg yn cyfuno’n dda gyda Ffiseg, Mathemateg a TGCh
• Mae’r cwrs yma yn darparu sylfaen ardderchog mewn maes technolegol fodern.
• Fe fydd yn ddefnyddiol i unrhyw un sy’n ystyried gradd mewn Peirianneg, Ffiseg neu Cyfrifiaduro.
• Mae diwydiannau tebyg i roboteg, meddyginiaeth, telathrebu a darlledu yn fwyfwy ddibynnol ar Electroneg a chewch gyfleodd eang ynddynt.
Beth yw cynnwys y cwrs?
Elfen bwysig o’r cwrs yw datrys problemau a chreu cynnyrch a systemau. Caiff y myfyrwyr ddylunio, adeiladu, profi a gwerthuso dyfais electroneg o’u dewis gan ennill profiadau gwerthfawr a datblygu sgiliau allweddol hanfodol. Hefyd byddant yn cynllunio, datblygu a chyflawni tasgau ymarferol ac yn ysgrifennu adroddiad, gan wneud defnydd da o’r holl wybodaeth flaenorol. Hefyd defnyddir amryw o ddulliau megis efelychiad cyfrifiadurol, dadansoddiad a dylunio cylchedau a gwaith ymarferol arall.
Why study Electronics?
Electronics is an exciting field of study that affects nearly all aspects of our lives.
• The course attracts students who enjoy working with technology and/or understanding science.
• It is not necessary for students to have previously studied a course in Electronics.
• Electronics combines well with Physics, Maths and ICT
• This course provides an excellent grounding in
Electronics, a field which is at the forefront of modern
technological industries.
• It will be very useful for anyone considering a degree or
career in Engineering, Physics or Computing.
• Industries such as robotics, medicine,
telecommunications and broadcasting are careers where Electronics would be advantageous and provide great opportunities.
What is the course content?
A large aspect of the course deals with problem solving and creating products or systems. Students are expected to plan, develop and complete practical tasks, and to write a detailed report, making good use of all that has been learned. Also during the course the students design, build, test and evaluate a chosen electronic device thus gaining an invaluable experience and develop crucial transferable skills.
