GCSE, A Level, Vocational courses
At Key Stage 4 we offer courses which lead to a variety of qualifications. The school policy is that every child who wishes to take a subject to GCSE level is allowed to do so. We do not operate a discriminatory policy at this school. For example, this year, on average pupils sat examinations in 10 GCSE subjects. In the sixth form pupils are offered a wide range of A level, Applied Advanced and Vocational courses at Gŵyr together with the Welsh BAC.
“I am very pleased with my child’s progress in the school. Gŵyr is a very good school and I am pleased with the teaching, encouragement, performance and her overall progress in education.”
